Deep Creek

This past weekend, some friends, Kevin and I rented a beautiful home in Deep Creek Lake for the weekend.  We all split up necessary items that we would need for the weekend, plus a lot of extras, which left us with plenty of food and drinks!

Last Thursday was Amanda's birthday, so the girls and I planned a little birthday celebration for the Friday that we got there.  We had cupcakes, jello shots and fun hats and glasses.  We sang to Amanda and celebrated all night long! It was extra fun because I really don't think she had any idea it was coming.  I love surprises!

 We woke up Saturday morning to a beautiful, cold day...

 The boys went off skiing and snowboarding for the day and the girls (and Shane! lol) stayed at the house playing games, watching TV, eating and drinking endless amounts of bloody marys and watermelon mojitos.  It was a great time! 

The boys came home, we made a delicious Italian dinner, we continued playing games, and we hung out for the rest of the night.  

It was a much needed weekend away!  I can't wait for the next trip next year!
