No white after Labor Day

I'm one of those people who follows the "no white after Labor Day" rule.  My grandma, mom and sisters are all followers and I sort of just jumped on the family trend bandwagon.  It doesn't entirely bother me when other people don't follow the relatively old fashioned rule, but personally, I would never wear white after Labor Day.  It's sad though,  it does mark the end of my absolute favorite time of the year... and some of my favorite summer clothes are white. : (
